Loan is getting delayed

My husband Raja Muralidhar has applied for personal loan. But, it is getting delayed for some or other reason. They have not rejected but also not processing the loan, and it is on hold.

Since being confident that the loan will be sanctioned we have committed to pay debts for financial people. They are now behind us.

Please suggest some switch word to get the loan soon.
